I believe healing happens in the context of safe, attuned relationships. Whether I’m working with a child through play, supporting parents, or helping adults understand their relational patterns, my work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration.
I have extensive experience working with children and families, particularly around attachment-related concerns, including families formed through foster care and adoption. I also enjoy working with adults who want to better understand how early relational experiences may still influence their relationships today.
I am trained in the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI), a research-based interview that can help adults explore how early experiences shape the way they connect with others. When appropriate, I can integrate this perspective into our therapy work together.
Hello and Welcome! To summarize myself, I have been practicing psychotherapy in the Chicago area since graduating from Adler University with my Doctorate in 2014. Since then I have grown into my profession and now run a small private practice, supervise my team's coursework and proudly continue to serve my community through therapy. I am outgoing by nature and will make you feel heard and supported from the start.
I was born and raised in Montana and have a genuine passion for nature and the outdoors. I received my Bachelors in Psychology at Montana State University in 2001. I then pursued my Masters of Social Work degree and graduated in 2008 from the University of Montana. This graduate program had a focus on providing a social justice and integrated practitioner perspective. I have an eclectic style that can be tailored to each unique individual. My primary therapeutic methods include Mindfulness Based, Holistic, Exposure, Narrative, Cognitive and Behavioral, Strengths Based & Solution Focused Therapies. I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate environment that often helps people feel comfortable. A true passion of mine is structuring therapeutic activities for clients to express, process, increase self-awareness, and de-stress from life’s challenging and developmental experiences.
I support adults facing anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, grief, or life transitions. I offer a calm, thoughtful space to talk through what you’re experiencing and begin making meaningful changes.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst with extensive experience helping adults navigate emotional challenges, long‐standing patterns, and questions of identity and purpose. My work blends depth psychology with practical tools so you can understand yourself more fully and move toward a more grounded, authentic life.
Clients often come to me when they’re carrying a lot — stress, loss, uncertainty, or a sense that something needs to shift. I provide a steady, reflective environment where you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and develop clarity about your next steps.
I am a counselor that will meet you where you are and challenge you to get to where you want to be, by being warm, understanding, and compassionate. I view trauma as a whole body experience and work with you at your pace. I have more than 10 years of experience working with those who have experienced trauma both as an advocate and therapist.
